Meaning
「どうやら」is used to:
1. Emphasize the uncertainty in the speaker's conjecture about something that they are not sure about. It often accompanies speculative structures like 「ようだ」「そうだ」「らしい」. It can be translated as "It seems like..." or "It appears that..."
2. Describe a situation where, although not perfect or ideal, the desired result is achieved after much effort or difficulty.
Nowadays, 「どうやら」is mainly used with the first meaning, while the second meaning is often expressed using 「どうにか」or 「何とか」.
