JLPT
N3
Structure
さあ : Come on, okay
Meaning
Used when urging or inviting others. In the case of example 3, it is to encourage oneself. In the case of example 4, the meaning of "urging", "inviting", "encouraging" is not expressed, although expressions like 「さあ、新年だ。がんばるぞ。」(Come on, it's the new year. I'll do my best) could be used. Except for example 3, if the situation alone can convey the meaning of the sentence, then just using 「さあ」would suffice.
