अर्थ
「に限り」expresses a limitation, indicating that the favorable aspect mentioned after it (benefits, privileges...) is only for the subject N.
"Only..."
「に限って」expresses a limitation where:
When N is a point in time, the speaker wants to express that normally things are different, but at that particular point in time N, something unfortunate happens to them.
When N is a person, the speaker wants to criticize, express surprise... that only that person N has such an unfortunate event. If the latter clause is in negative form, the speaker strongly affirms: "Only person N is never like that."
"Only..."
「に限らず」expresses the idea of "not only... but also..." indicating that the scope is not limited to N, but also extends to other subjects. These other subjects have a larger scope than N; or they are equivalent and when combined with N, they form a complete group. This is also a distinction of 「に限らず」from 「だけでなく」(also a structure meaning "not only... but also...", where the other subject is equal to N and is simply an additional case, not forming a complete group with N.) "Not only... but also..."
