意味
「にして」expresses that something can only happen under certain specific conditions or circumstances (such as time, age, position). When N is in this condition, then something else can happen, or become possible. This structure expresses the speaker's surprise or relief about the situation. It is often used with 初めて (hajimete - for the first time) or ようやく.
