意味
1. 「たきり」indicates that an action (V2) has not occurred since the last time it happened (V1), and the situation remains the same. The last time it happened (V1) can sometimes be replaced with これ、それ、あれ to become 「これきり/これっきり」(since now), 「それきり/それっきり」(since then), 「あれきり/あれっきり」(since that time). This structure conveys a sense of unease, worry, or regret from the speaker. "Since/From the time..."
2. 「ますきり」describes a state of doing nothing else but a particular action (V), being completely absorbed or engrossed in it. This structure is limited to certain verbs like 任せきり (to leave entirely to someone), 付きり (to be always with), かかりきり (to be fully occupied with). "Only doing/Just absorbed in..."
