V-よう
အဓိပ္ပါယ်
Expresses the speaker's speculation. It's often used with verbs that do not express volition such as 「ある」(to exist), 「なる」(to become), or verbs indicating possibility such as 「言える」(can say), 「できる」(can do), 「考えられる」(can be considered). The negative form is 「V-まい」. This is a slightly more formal way of speaking. In spoken language, we use 「だろう」.
